Grant of options

Montreal, Canada - May 22, 2008 - The Compensation Committee of Big Red Diamond Corporation has granted a total of 2,000,000 options to its directors to purchase common shares in the Company and 150,000 options to officers, who are not directors of the Company. All options have an exercise price of $0.05, an exercise period of five years and a hold period of four months from the day of the grant.
